70 academic papers submitted to Communication Management Forum 2017
The papers at Bernays' second international academic conference, to be held on 12 and 13 May, are co-authored by over 100 researchers and experts in public relations, marketing and media.
This year's two-day Communication Management Forum conference will be opened by renowned European experts in the field of public relations and corporate communications. The keynote speakers of conference are Assoc Prof Piet Verhoeven, PhD, university professor from Amsterdam, and Prof Ana Tkalac Verčič, PhD, from the University of Zagreb. Dr Verhoeven will discuss the topic Crisis? What crisis? Reflections on the definition, meaning and practice of crisis communication, while Dr Tkalac Verčič will talk about the topic Crisis responsibility and corporate reputation – moving ahead in difficult times.
The objective of Communication Management Forum 2017 will be deepening understanding of the definition and meaning of crisis as a framework for understanding crisis events in practice. All papers presented at the conference will be published in the conference proceedings with international editorial board, while the best papers will be published in the international academic journal Communication Management Review, published by the Edward Bernays College of Communication Management since 2016. The detailed conference programme will be published in April.
By organizing this international conference, Edward Bernays College of Communication Management, as the largest communication science programme in Croatia, aims to support the further development of science in this part of the academic community, and also to contribute to the development of Croatian and international academic science in the field of communication management.
